A Slam Dunk: Free Ga. 400 Tolls Tuesday Morning, Thanks to Hawks

Making up for NBA lockout, Dominique Wilkins to make appearance at toll plaza Tuesday morning

From Patch Reports

To spread goodwill after the NBA season's delay, the Atlanta Hawks are paying for Ga. 400 tolls Tuesday morning.

The Hawks will pick up the tab for southbound and northbound tolls from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release. The NBA season was delayed when the owners locked out players, leading to a recent labor agreement and the opening of the season. All 50-cent, cashier and cruise card/Peach Pass lanes’ tolls will be paid by the Hawks.
